Most horses and dogs are initially brought to us for treatment when a problem becomes obvious to their owners. For this symptomatic relief Chiropractic treatment is extremely effective and is referred to as the recovery phase of treatment.

As with human Chiropractic it is at the end of this recovery care that a decision needs to made by the client with respect to the direction of future care. There are two simple choices;

• Crisis Care - where the patient receives no further care until which time the symptoms may return and then embarks on a further course of treatment.
• Maintenance/Preventative Care - where the patient receives regular supportive treatments every 2 - 6 months depending on their individual case.
